Premier plan links to FTSE

Premier Fund Managers is launching a new fund which offers an income of 7.5 per cent a year or 42 per cent growth over five years.

The Premier UK income & growth plan is linked to the performance of the FTSE 100 Index over the five-year investment period.

Investors receive a full return of their original investment in addition to any income or growth as long as the index does not fall 25 per cent below the starting level. This applies even if the index falls by more than 25 per cent during the five-year period as long as it recovers by the end of the term.

If the index reaches a level 40 per cent higher than its start point during the investment period, investors are guaranteed to get the full amount of their capital back regardless of subsequent market movements.

Those who invest early will receive the equivalent of interest at 5 per cent a year until the investment period begins on April 30. Commission is 4 per cent.

Sales and marketing director Simon Weldon says: “IFAs and investors have been asking for some time for an income product linked to the FTSE 100 index.

“We are delighted to combine these features in a product where the investment return is five years – a prerequisite for stockmarket-linked investment with most IFAs – and with such innovative safety features.”
