PosSol in advice deal with Trust Inheritance

Positive Solutions has launched a joint initiative with estate planning specialist Trust Inheritance.

The agreement, which was confirmed last week, will enable Positive Solutions’ IFA partners to offer financial advice to customers of Trust Inheritance.

This will be in addition to the advice that Trust Inheritance clients get at present on trust and estate planning.

Positive Solutions expects the initiative to lead to an increase in business referrals for clients who are enquiring about long-term care, equity release and other specialist at-retirement solutions.

Trust Inheritance, which is based in Somerset, has a total of 90 consultants who see, on average, 2,000 clients per month. Plans are in place to expand the business this year.

Positive Solutions director of positive partnerships Jonathan Morley says: “We believe this initiative will be mutually beneficial, enabling customers to access both the financial planning specialism that our partners can provide and the expertise from Trust Inheritance in the estate planning sector.

“Many people put off making a will as they do not want to contemplate the unexpected happening to them. However, the importance of proper estate planning cannot be underestimated.”
