PosSol denies CEO Johnson set to quit

Positive Solutions has confirmed that chief executive Neil Johnson will remain at the firm until at least the end of the year.

The adviser firm says reports that Johnson was due to quit after being made a partner of executive chairman David Harrison’s technology spin-off True Potential are wide of the mark.

Johnson says: “I am still the CEO with a business to run. Although I am a partner in TP, my role will not change until the phased transition period of senior managers is completed and established.”

PosSol marketing manager Daniel Harrison, who is leaving to become head of marketing and a senior partner at TP, says Johnson will stay at Aegon-owned PosSol to ensure continuity.

He says: “We need Neil to stay at Positive Solutions for stability purposes and Aegon has agreed if at any point it looks to be to the detriment of PosSol for Neil to come across, it will not happen. No efforts are being made to find a replacement.”

PosSol sales director Mike Edwards will now take responsibility for the sales teams and business consultants.
