Positive Solutions aiming seminars at ISL members

Positive Solutions is targeting Investment Strategies Limited members with a series of seminars following the recent move by Bankhall to close down the ISL network.

The seminars start this week and will cover Manchester, Edinburgh, London, Birmingham, Bristol, Newcastle and Leeds.

The FSA’s direct authorisation application processes take up to 16 weeks. Bankhall says it will offer incentives to ISL members to switch to its directly authorised model.

Positive Solutions ran a similar programme after the disbandment of Colonial in 2001 and picked up over 100 of its advisers. It claims to have already received initial enquiries from around 25 ISL members. Other networks have also been targeting ISL members.

PS recruitment director Keith Atkinson says: “Direct regulation does not suit everybody as there are a whole range of new costs and regulations to worry about.”
