Portman Building Society launches mini-Isas


Portman Building Society is launching two mini cash Isas, an instant access and 90 days notice version.


The Instant Access Isa will meet Government Cat standards paying an interest rate of 4.25 per cent with a minimum investment of £10.


Savers will qualify for a 1.5 per cent bonus if they invest £3,000 in the first year and £1,000 in years two and three without making any withdrawals.


The 90-Day Notice account offers a 5.75 per cent interest rate and has a minimum investment of £2,500.
