Minimum investment: Single – £1,000, monthly – £100.

Investment split: Tracker funds – 50 per cent including Legal & General UK index – 17 per cent, HSBC Footsie fund – 16 per cent, Royal & Sun Alliance UK index – 17 per cent. Mainstream growth funds – 40 per cent including Fidelity special situations – 10 per cent, Gartmore UK smaller companies – 10 per cent, M&G UK growth – 10 per cent, Perpetual income – 10 per cent. Specialist growth funds – 10 per cent including Exeter capital growth – 3 per cent, Johnson Fry Slater growth – 4 per cent and Manek growth 3 per cent.
