Pointon York put up for sale

Pointon York is up for sale after the Sipp provider received “several” approaches from prospective buyers.

The firm plans to undertake a formal sale process during which it will seek potential offerers for the entire issued and to be issued share capital of the company.

The Pointon York board is targeting a deadline for receipt of takeover proposals in mid-October, with a final decision on any sale expected “shortly after”.

FSA fines mortgage fraudster £250,000

The FSA has banned a North West London mortgage broker and fined him £250,000 for repeated mortgage fraud and deliberately misleading the regulator.   1. If I could give the perspective buyers any advice, it would be “Don’t go there!”
    They have just cost me £1.8M due to their procrastination, dithering and poor advice.
