Pitt joins Focus Solutions to develop 360 sales

Former Sesame head of proposition development Chris Pitt has joined technology firm Focus Solutions as lead business consultant.

He will work with the firm’s sales response unit to help develop and promote Focus 360, the firm’s new office software system.

Pitt worked at Sesame for five years, between 2002 and 2007, and helped move 1,500 Sesame advisers from MiSolution software to Sesame Office. He joins Focus from Tata Consultancy Services, where he worked as a management consultant after leaving Sesame.

Pitt says: “Focus has a good reputation in the market for delivering sales process automation solutions and the development of this advanced sales and back-office single platform will further enhance their reputation for delivering innovative solutions that provide benefit to their customers.”

Focus Solutions chief executive Richard Stevenson says: “Chris is a very well known and respected figure within the financial services market and his addition to Focus demonstrates our commitment to invest in the right skills and people to develop the company further.”

Focus Solutions is holding a regulatory briefing for advisers to discuss the future of adviser technology. The event will take place in London on May 20.
