Pima wins accreditation

The Pep and Isa Managers Association has got accreditation from the Securities & Investment Institute to deliver investment administration qualification educational modules.

Pima head of member services Carol Knight says the accreditation reflects Pima’s increased focus on training and support services, which it has been expanding in recent years, largely leaving lobbying to the Investment Management Association.

The IAQ is seen as a base -evel qualification for financial services administration and operations staff and covers such areas as global custody and settlement and operational risk.

Pima is also offering a practitioner-led course on child trust fund implementation and runs several courses on regulation.

Knight says: “This shows the breadth and quality of Pima’s training offerings to prepare students for the IAQ exams.”
