Jacksons Wealth Management managing director Pete Matthew has launched a website offering paid-for courses on personal finance.
Matthew set up financial education site MeaningfulMoney five years ago, which offers videos and podcasts. Its podcasts receive over 500 downloads per day.
Matthew has today launched Meaningful University, which is initially offering a four-week online course on budgeting at a cost of £67.
Further courses are planned on topics including goal setting, how to build an investment portfolio, and behavioural finance.
Matthew says: “I have been doing Meaningful Money for five years providing free information and for a while I have wanted to do something which goes deeper into certain subjects.
“This is a way of monetising Meaningful Money and helping people even more. The courses are not just theoretical but aim to help students apply the lessons learned in a hands-on way.”
