Personal Touch to add car and travel services

Personal Touch Financial Services is offering a car leasing and car purchase service and is to launch a travel service.

Advisers can arrange car leasing for a minimum of 12 months or car purchase on behalf of clients via a portal. They get a flat £200 fee for each deal. Personal Touch Travel Service will launch in the next few weeks and allows advisers to act as travel agents, booking clients’ flights and hotels. The commission can be varied to help the adviser beat other quotes the client may have received, but is 13 per cent on average. On a sale of a £2,000 holiday, an adviser could earn £260.

Group sales director Dev Malle says: “In the short term, these services offer advisers income opportunities while over the long term advisers can build a fuller relationship with clients.”
