Personal Touch drops packager

Personal Touch Financial Services has removed Personal Touch Packaging from its panel in a move which will see it lose the Personal Touch brand name.

The packager will now be known as PTP Homeloans.

PTFS had bought packager Clear Mortgage Administration earlier this month and it will be rebranded as Personal Touch Mortgage Administration Services.

As an appointed representative, Personal Touch Packaging was allowed to use the Personal Touch brand.

PTFS sales director Dev Malle says: “A lot of arrangements we had in place with PTP have come to an end. We used to let it use our name but with effect from last week it has rebranded.”

Malle says pipeline business from PTP is still going through but it is no longer accepting new business. He says: “We never owned Personal Touch Packaging but there were investors which had shares in both.”

PTP Homeloans would not comment except to confirm it is no longer on the PTFS panel.
