Personal Finance Education Group launches pupil project

The Personal Finance Education Group is today launching its Excellence and Access project, aimed at raising the level of understanding of financial products among schoolchildren.

The project will train teachers in 400 schools to work alongside PFEG advisers in educating pupils on personal finance.

PFEG chairman and AITC director general Daniel Godfrey says: "Excellence and Access will give young people the confidence to make independent and informed decisions about their personal finances. The project will provide them with the skills and confidence they need to manager their financial affairs in adult life."
