Former Ascentric director and co-founder Michael Fordham has joined IHT specialist and fund manager The Way Group as managing director of business development.

Fordham will help drive the group’s plans to open up greater relationships with IFAs.

Towry Law has promoted Bryan Innes to the role of senior client partner. Innes, who is a chartered financial planner, joined Towry from Aitchison & Colegrave in 1999. He provides holistic financial planning and wealth advice to private individuals and corporate clients.

Alternative wealth management group Stenham has appointed Damian Cocking as senior relationship manager for the Channel Islands and Isle of Man. Marco Gebhard has been appointed senior relationship manager for Europe. Cocking worked for Goldman Sachs as head of fiduciary relationships and Gebhard was a director of Bankhaus Wolbern, a German private bank managing an institutional client base.

Focus Solutions Group has recruited Peter Dingomal to the senior management team as sales director, wealth management. He will be responsible for generating business for the wealth management version of focus:360° and developing Focus’ position within the same market across the UK and Europe.

The Personal Finance Societyhas appointed Skandia UK chief development officer Peter Mann to its board. Mann has over 20 years experience in retail financial services, having held senior positions in both manufacturer and distributor companies. Prior to joining Skandia, Mann was chief executive at Bankhall.

Mike Perry has joined Northampton-based Clarity Credit Management Solutions as sales and marketing director. Perry will work towards strengthening Clarity’s presence in the mortgage market as a provider of debt management and collections services to lenders. He previously worked at HML, Amber Homeloans and Norwich & Peterborough Building Society.
