Skandia UK marketing director Nick Dixonand sales director Andy Davies are to leave the firm as part of the merger with Old Mutual Wealth. Michelle Andrewshas been appointed Old Mutual Wealth marketing director for UK, international and Europe while Steve Powellhas been appointed sales director for the UK.

Standard Life’s head of pension policy John Lawson is leaving to join Aviva. Lawson will become head of corporate benefits policy answering to managing director of corporate benefits Graham Boffey.

John Devine has been appointed as a non-executive director at Standard Life Investments. Devine was previously global chief operating officer at Threadneedle Investments.

Reliance Mutual has appointed Chris Lerpiniere and Cameron Mills as executive directors to sit on the board of the mutual. Lerpiniere is currently head of operations and Mills is chief actuary.

LV= has appointed Mark Austen as chairman taking over from Dennis Holt. Austen who is currently senior independent director and has previously headed up financial services consulting at PricewaterhouseCoopers will take over the position from May 2013.

Patrick Mill has been appointed as managing director of Alliance Trust Savings with immediate effect. Mill was previously distribution director at ATS and was previously sales director at Prudential and was managing director of financial services at Bradford and Bingley.

Kevin Rait has joined Heartwood Investment Management as intermediary client director. Rait joins the company from Arbuthnot & Co where he oversaw the launch of its discretionary fund management service for financial advisers.

Sun Life Direct has appointed Dean Lamble as managing director to take over from Mark Howes who is to take over responsibility for parent company Axa’s direct life and health protection businesses. Lamble joins from Aviva where he was distribution development director.
