Aviva UK chief executive Trevor Matthews is stepping down from his role in May, following a management reshuffle. Matthews took on the position in 2011 when he joined from Friends Life where he was vice chairman.

James Hay has appointed former Cofunds head of sales Alastair Conway (pictured) as chief executive. He will take over the responsibilities of James Hay managing director Tim Sargisson, who will move to the newly created role of chief executive of parent IFG’s Financial Services Division.

RWC has appointed Dan Mannix (pictured) to the role of chief executive, taking over from Peter Harrison who is moving to a senior position at Schroders.

Tenet has appointed Caroline Bradley as group finance director, following the resignation of former finance director Graeham Sampson in September.

David Tiller has been appointed to the newly created role of head of platform propositions at Standard Life. Tiller was previously Standard Life Wealth strategy and business development director.

Coutts financial product planning team director Ed Colyer is to join Towry as manager of products in its client proposition team. Colyer has worked for Coutts and the Royal Bank of Scotland for 15 years.

Mercer has appointed Fiona Dunsire as UK market leader and chief executive. Dunsire joined Mercer as a graduate in 1988.

Derek Bryden will join Henderson Global Investors as UK advisory sales manager for the north. Bryden has over 25 years’ experience, having previously held the role of senior sales manager at Skandia for two years.

Fidelity has appointed RSA Group distribution director Russell Lancaster as UK retail sales director. Prior to RSA Group, Lancaster worked at Cofunds for 12 years, most recently as head of commercial and key accounts.

Mike Barrett has been appointed to the newly created role of platform marketing manager at Skandia. Barrett has worked with Skandia for around 16 years, most recently as proposition development manager.
