Park Row recruits two more ex-Wentworth advisers from Origen

Park Row has recruited two more ex-Wentworth Rose advisers from Origen with the firm’s top-performing and longest-standing advisers.

Jim Humphrey and David Fishman both joined Park Row Corporate & Private Clients from Origen this month.

Humphrey joined Wentworth Rose in 1998 and was its consistently best performer while Fishman, with Wentworth Rose since 1981, was its long-est-serving IFA.

Park Row says five of its 47 advisers have come from Wentworth Rose/Origen due to the similarity of business model.

Origen, with 170 RIs, was formed out of IFA firms Advi-sory & Brokerage Services, Wentworth Rose, Aurora Fin-ancial Group, Momentum Financial Services and Elliott Bayley in a deal finalised in March.

Park Row head of corporate and private clients Peter Sprung says: “We are not targeting specific companies or individuals but we do aim to attract as many of the UK’s better qualified advisers as we can.”

Origen chief executive Gareth Marr says: “Of course, there was going to be some natural fallout following the merger as certain consultants decided the new Origen model was not for them but I believe that the number to have left dur- ing our transformation has been remarkably low.”
