The service is aimed at UK professional buy-to-let landlords and those clients looking for potential investment opportunities overseas.
Paradigm says the arrangement provides members and their clients with access to Forrester Cohen’s expertise in the Australian property investment market.
Training will be offered, plus support material focused on arranging finance, legal and accountancy services, tenant sourcing, property management and ongoing portfolio services.
Paradigm says Forrester Cohen can access mortgage finance in Australia with products available up to 80 per cent LTV, plus interest-only options with deals up to 25-year terms, rental income used for affordability and a simplified underwriting process.
Paradigm adds that members will also see an average commission amount of £5k for each property purchase.
Paradigm Mortgage Services head John Coffield says: “The buy-to-let market in the UK is suffering at present, with access to mortgage funding at an all-time low, meaning serious investors are unable to add to their portfolios as in the past.
“However, the Australian property market is particularly attractive for investors with a number of key drivers making it the market to watch despite a slowing economy. These underlying drivers include a current housing stock shortage, an active skilled workforce immigration policy, high demand for long-term rental property, 98 per cent-plus occupancy rates, an excellent resale market and strong long-term capital growth.”
