Paradigm investment firm links with Distribution Technology

Paradigm Group’s investment management business Tatton Investment Management has linked with Distribution Technology to offer advisers DT’s financial planning software.

The link up means advisers who use the full Tatton range of funds will have free access to DT’s Dynamic Planner software including its client-facing My Planning proposition.

Paradigm Group chief investment officer Lothar Mentel (pictured) says: “In the current environment, as we approach the RDR, it has never been more important for advisers to have access to a robust and well-documented process to manage suitability of their investment recommendations for their clients.”

Paradigm announced in October it was launching Tatton within which Henderson would launch four risk-rated multi-asset funds.

Finance and Technology Research Centre director Ian McKenna says: “If I was advising fund managers I would be ensuring their multi-asset funds were risk rated by Distribution Technology or its leading peers, this is the direction the market is heading and has been for a while.”
