PanaceaIFA rebrands to reflect membership

Online adviser community PanaceaIFA has rebranded to Panacea Adviser to reflect its support for both independent and restricted advisers.

The rebrand comes into effect from today, and follows an overhaul of the website including an enhanced forum and an improved social media area.

Panacea Adviser chief executive Derek Bradley (pictured) says: “It is important our brand reflects the broad community we serve and support. Under the new name, we will continue to offer directly regulated advisers, both restricted and independent, free access to industry updates, support services and technical intelligence as well as campaigning and lobbying on behalf of the financial advice industry.”

He adds: “We have worked hard to become a respected voice within the financial services industry over the last five years and greatly look forward to growing even further, as Panacea Adviser, in a post-RDR world.”

  1. A sound and sensible adjustment from a valuable adviser resource.

    Like AIFA and Unbiased, Panacea has accepted that the world has changed due to FSA interference and firms have to move or bend in order that they continue to survive.

    We can’t all enjoy £400k for six months gardening leave.
