Pada adds three to board

The Personal Accounts Delivery Authority has appointed Alison Wright, Paul Hewitt and Chris Willford as non-executive directors.

They join chairman Paul Myners, chief executive Tim Jones and non-executive director Jeannie Drake on the board.

Wright, who was previously chief marketing officer of Egg, Prudential and Citibank’s UK consumer business, will focus on marketing, advertising and brand building. Hewitt, who was Co-operative deputy group chief executive, will focus on operational delivery. Bradford & Bingley group finance director Willford will deal with financial management, including control.

Myners says: “Each of our new board members has an impressive background in business, the financial services industry and of successfully delivering products, often in very challenging and competitive markets. These skills and experiences will without doubt help us successfully deliver personal accounts in 2012.”

Wright says: “I am looking forward to applying my marketing and communication experience from Egg, Prudential and the advertising industry to one of the most important issues facing the UK today.”

Hewitt says: “Ensuring there is effective pension provision for everyone is one of the key challenges facing our society. I am delighted that I will be able to contribute to its solution.”

Willford says: “I am delighted to be joining the board and look forward to making a difference in the important area of effective pension provision for all.”
