Over 1,000 advisers sign up to Skandia’s U-Skan tool

Over 1,000 advisers have added their brand to Skandia’s portfolio analysis report in just four months.

Since its launch in January this year, 1,138 advisers have uploaded their company logo to Skandia’s U-Skan portfolio analysis tool, which produces a client facing portfolio analysis report showing the IFAs own logo.

U-Skan, produced for Skandia by Financial Express, allows the adviser to review a single fund, an existing client account, a model portfolio and all existing unit-linked holdings held by a client.

Skandia head of investment marketing Graham Bentley says: “We expected this development to be popular with advisers as a strong brand can really add value to an adviser’s business and having the option to add the firm’s logo to reports from an online tool is a great way to reinforce the firm’s identity.

“The development specifically responded to concerns advisers may have about maintaining their independent status when using a platform within their business.”
