Origo pilots secure internet connections for IFAs

Standards setting body Origo is piloting a digital certificate system in a bid to offer IFAs and providers security on the internet.


The trial is seeking to allow information transfers and services to be carried securely over the internet via a single platform common to all IFAs and providers.


Digital certificate specialist Inter-Clear beat the likes of BT and Royal Mail to do the six month pilot involving 200 IFAs.


The service also aims to increase the speed of access for IFAs to services.
