The service, to launch in July, will provide an online centralised process for advisers to create and submit requests for changes to agency arrangements to multiple providers.
The service will streamline the administration process and improve the paper-based communications between distributor groups and product providers.
Origo says the electronic service will reduce errors and the need to chase requests and will provide confirmation that requests have been completed.
Requests advisers will now be able to manage through the new service include change of address, change of bank account and request for additional agencies.
They will also be able to request for agency closures and transfer of business and novations.
Origo managing director Paul Pettitt says: “Consolidation in the adviser sector is driving more and more agency requests, which we also expect to markedly increase as a result of RDR. This service is well placed to deliver savings through improved co-ordination and efficiency of core administrative tasks. This is vital during such widespread, structural change.”
