Origen cuts 17 jobs in restructure

Origen Financial Services is cutting 17 jobs and relocating its Canterbury business elsewhere in Kent as part of a restructure ahead of the RDR.

The Aegon-owned firm says some adviser roles will be lost as part of the 17 cuts but the number is yet to be decided.

The restructure also sees Bob Dimond appointed as head of the firm’s national corporate client business. Dimond was previously responsible for corporate clients in the South East which will now be headed up by Kevin O’Farrell.

Origen says director of client services Warren Page has resigned to take up a role outside the firm.

Origen Financial Services managing director Mike Kirsch (pictured) says: ‘The changes we are announcing today will make sure we are much fitter and better placed to be successful in the future.”
