OPMfm TV was created to provide small and medium-sized IFA firms with something different from other firms. The interviews, which will last no longer than five minutes, can be embedded on IFA websites and viewed with iPad and iPhone technology.
The videos will cover investment themes and provide commentaries that should put the investment advice that clients get from IFAs into a meaningful context.
OPM says the videos will enable clients to hear the people managing their money talking about investment issues in simple terms, which should be easier to understand than the various written reports they got about their funds.
Chief investment officer Tony Yousefian says: “Naturally, we want to give our supporters something refreshingly different when deciding whether to deal with us as opposed to other companies.
“A lot of video communications are business-to-business but we wanted to give our supporters something they can use with clients. IFAs can have the web link and put it on their websites. We think it is an easy way of getting our message across.”
