Openwork’s Woodford fund hits £100m in six months

Openwork’s UK equity fund, managed by Neil Woodford, has reached more than £100m in its six months since launch.

The Omnis UK Income & Growth fund became available to Openwork advisers in February via the network’s investment proposition Omnis and takes positions in listed and unquoted companies across the UK.

Openwork marketing director Philip Martin describes the firm’s partnership with Woodford Investment Management as “extremely valuable” to Omnis.

Omnis attracted more than £160m in the second quarter of 2016.

Since its announcement of the launch of the Woodford-managed fund, Openwork has announced the launch of equity funds to be managed by Jupiter Asset Management and Baillie Gifford, covering Europe and Asia Pacific respectively. The funds launched in May.
