Openwork reveals full Omnis fund manager line-up

Restricted national Openwork has confirmed the remaining fund managers to complete its seven-strong investment fund proposition Omnis.

Schroders has been given the mandate for the Omnis Global Fixed Interest fund, under the management of Bob Jolly, while the Omnis International Equities fund will be managed by Thomas White International’s Doug Jackman.

The Omnis Alternative Strategies fund will be run by Octopus Investments fund managers Colin Lunnon and Simon Reynolds, while the Omnis UK Fixed Interest fund will be managed by Threadneedle’s David Oliphant and Richard Stevens.

In December, Money Marketing revealed Openwork is mandating Omnis for the majority of its investment advisers for the second quarter of this year.

Omnis, a joint venture between Openwork and Octopus Investments, initally launched with cautious, balanced and adventurous model portfolios.

Last month it announced the Omnis UK Equities fund will be managed by Schroders UK equity fund manager Errol Francis and Ed Meier, the Omnis US Equities fund will be managed by The Boston Company senior managing director of large cap growth Elizabeth Slover and the Omnis Emerging Markets Equity fund will be managed by Jupiter global emerging markets fund manager Kathryn Langridge.

Jacksons Wealth Management managing director Pete Matthew says: “Omnis has solid managers and a good spread of funds, but I would want to see some balance with more alternatives instead of just equities and bonds.”
