The Insurance Marketing Department, which provides consultancy services to IFAs and product providers, has set up an internet service to help clients improve their marketing activity.
The online service is designed to give members an easy route to its professional marketing service for a monthly fee of £41.13.
Clients and potential clients can log on for direct access to the full range of services at www.marketingdepartment.co.UK.
Members are offered a telephone enquiry service to talk over marketing ideas with an expert. They can then follow this up with email contact for more detailed advice.
Members also get up to four pieces of marketing literature a year specially drafted for them, copies of marketing guides produced by the Insurance Marketing Department and a quarterly email newsletter.
Insurance Marketing Company director Stephen Phillips says: “IFAs and insurance brokers have traditionally enjoyed marketing support from product providers. Of course, there is nothing wrong with this but limited res-ources now appear to be making it less easy to access than previously.
“What many intermediaries may prefer is a marketing view totally independent of product providers. Now, independent intermediaries can tap into a resource that fully understands both the products and market without having to share information with insurance companies or fund managers.”
