Online brokers team up to offer investment products

Online execution only broker Discount Investments and online broker Stocktrade have teamed up to launch two new investment based products, UltimateIsa and UltimatePep Transfer Service.

Each product offers investors access to any eligible unit trust or Oeic and the ability to invest up to 50 per cent of the portfolio in UK equities, investment trusts and qualifying fixed interest securities.

Investors are charged a flat annual fee of £30 plus Vat and £22 per deal irrespective of the size of the deal. The initial charge on most of the products available has been cut to a minimal 0.5 per cent.
