OMAM bolsters UK analyst team

Old Mutual Asset Managers (UK) has announced the appointment of Nick Williamson and Stephen Message as UK analysts.

Williamson joins the UK mid and small-cap team, having previously worked at Citigroup. He will work closely with UK select smaller companies fund manager Daniel Nickols and Richard Watts, who takes on the UK select mid-cap fund from Ashton Bradbury in January 2009.

Message will work with UK select equity fund manager Simon Murphy, having previously worked at US private wealth manager Bessemer Trust, covering UK equities.

OMAM head of equities Ashton Bradbury says: “We are delighted that Nick and Stephen have joined OMAM. They are both talented investment professionals with meaningful experience of their respective areas of the UK equity market and I am confident that they will make a significant contribution to our analysis
and research capability.”
