Old Mutual makes wholesale changes to fund management team

Old Mutual is making a number of changes to its fund management team, with Asian manager Suresh Sadasivan set to leave the firm.

Sadasivan is stepping down from the management of his Old Mutual Asian select fund after a six month notice period to take up another fund management role in the industry.

Head of fixed interest and macro Andrew Tunks is taking on the group’s multi-asset funds – select managed and global dynamic – from Tracey Lander. Tunks was previously deputy on both funds.

Tunks switches to deputy of the global strategic bond fund to allow current deputy Richard Stevens to step up as lead manager.

Changes have also been made to the group’s Quantatative Strategies Team with Dr. Gavin Brown and Dr, Ian Hislop becoming head and deputy of the team respectively.

Louis Scott joins the team, while Mark Stevens is leaves to persue other opportunities.
