Old Mutual appoints Paul Feeney

Old Mutual has appointed Paul Feeney into the newly created role of chief executive of asset management for the Old Mutual Long Term Savings division.

Feeney is expected to join in early January, subject to completion of regulatory approvals.

Feeney will be responsible for all the Old Mutual LTS asset management businesses in Skandia Investment Group, Old Mutual Investment Group South Africa and Nordic asset management.

He will report to Paul Hanratty, chief executive of Old Mutual’s LTS division. Phil Wagstaff, who was appointed last week as CEO of Skandia Investment Group, will report to Feeney.

Since 2008 Feeney has been head of distribution and executive director of BNY Mellon Asset Management, responsible for all global distribution outside the United States. Prior to that he held senior roles at Gartmore, Royal Bank of Scotland, Coutts and Nat West.
