OBSR withdraws Aviva Higher Income Plus rating

Old Broad Street Research (OBSR), the ratings agency, has withdrawn the A rating from the Aviva Investors Higher Income Plus fund following news that the manager, Roger Webb, is leaving.

It has also removed the £390m fund from its ratings service. Dominic White, who was previously deputy manager on the fund, will now take over as lead manager.

OBSR says it plans to monitor the progress of funds in Aviva’s suite of fixed income products following these changes.

Earlier this week, Aviva announced that Webb was leaving the group to spend some time with his family before pursuing other opportunities.
