OBSR suspends ratings on Lazard funds

Old Broad Street Research has suspended the ratings of the Lazard UK alpha and Lazard UK omega funds following the retirement of Lazard MD and head of UK equities Tony Willis.

Willis has handed over management of the two funds to co-manager Alan Custis after nine years with the group.

Old Broad Street Research research director Richard Romer-Lee says: “Following the announcement that Tony Willis is to retire at the end of February 2009, OBSR has taken the decision to suspend OBSR Ratings on the Lazard UK alpha and Lazard UK omega funds pending further discussion with Lazard.”
