O’Brien promoted to Home of Choice MD

Gerry O’Brien has been promoted to the role of managing director at Home of Choice.
O’Brien moves to the position made vacant in February, after Richard Coulson was promoted to chief executive, from his previous role as sales director at the firm.
Simon Thomas moves from his role as business development director to replace O’Brien as sales director.
Coulson says: “Gerry’s appointment to MD is pivotal to our continued rapid expansion. His passion for distribution and product and service development will underpin our position as the UK’s leading mortgage network. Gerry has been a key figure in the success of Home of Choice and brings an outstanding track record to the role. He has proven ability to deliver bottom line results and will now drive the implementation of our ambitious strategic and operational plans.”
O’Brien says: “Anticipated consolidation in our newly regulated market creates incredible business opportunities for Home of Choice. I predict broker productivity will double in the next 12 months as a result of our dynamic, profitable business model and we will focus on technological development to support a new generation of advisers to deliver benefits for the customer.”
