Nucleus appoints client relations director from Transact

Nucleus has appointed Adam Baker as client relations director from Transact.

Baker is set to join the business on 2 February and will be responsible for the management of the client relations team.

He will be part of the senior management team and will report to Nucleus managing director Stuart Geard.

Baker joins the wrap platform from Transact, where he spent 14 years, most recently as head of client servicing.

Nucleus chief executive David Ferguson says: “I’m delighted to welcome Adam to the Nucleus team. We have long been public admirers of Transact, and Adam has played a pivotal role in positioning them as the benchmark for platform servicing.

“Adam is our third senior management hire in as many months and reflects our ongoing commitment to seek out and invest in the very best talent available.”

Baker replaces Joanne Rutherford, who is moving to another role within Nucleus.
