NU spends £150K on LTC push

Norwich Union is launching a £150,000 marketing campaign to help IFAs sell its new long-term care product.

IFAs will receive a marketing package which includes a CD-Rom, a video from the US and an LTC presentation kit.

The three-disk CD-Rom set forms an LTC encyclopaedia, with the first disk providing background information, the second looking at NU&#39s

Personal Careplans and the third concentrating on selling techniques.

The video includes interviews with top US-based LTC salesmen and highlights some of their sales techniques.

It also features statistics and case-studies of people who have faced LTC planning either for themselves or their parents. NU claims its presentation kit will enable IFAs to tailor it to their individual selling styles.

The marketing packs will be available from the company&#39s IFA sales consultants.

Trade marketing manager David Czerwinski says: "This is part of our IFA First commitment and is to help educate IFAs. We want to give IFAs the tools they need to help them do their business."
