NU makes virtual learning a reality

Norwich Union has set up a free virtual learning centre for IFAs designed to put fun into continuing professional development.

The learning tool, available to IFAs over the internet, offers training support for G10, G20 and G60 courses in a high-tech-style video game format, with IFAs navigating through a three-dimensional learning centre to a library, classroom, games room, communications room an examination hall.

IFAs can assess their proficiency in a subject through a multiple-choice quiz and record scores online. The site can be acc-essed by clicking through from the NU extranet site

NU, which has piloted the site with IFAs over recent months, has also created courses on flexible retirement solutions and business retirement solutions designed to assist IFAs in moving into the high-net-worth client market.

NU says more AFPC courses will be added in the future.

“It has been designed to provide IFAs with an attractive, fun and flexible way of learning, enabling them to use it at their own pace and to suit their own style of learning.”
