Novia hires ex-Skandia UK sales director

Novia has appointed former Skandia UK sales director Dave Chessell as its regional sales manager for London and the South East.

Chessell succeeds Paul Boston who will continue in his role as Novia sales director.

He was made redundant by Skandia in October 2009 as part of its sales restructure.

Chessell says: “Smaller, more adaptable platforms such as Novia, that have a culture focused on technology, will flourish in a world that requires low overheads and propositions that are truly scalable.”

Boston says: “His knowledge of the industry is second to none and he has an excellent track record of producing superb sales results.”

Novia currently employs 15 ex-Selestia staff, Chessell is the first to move to the company from Skandia.
