Norwich Union rolls up a retirement package

Norwich Union is rolling up a range of products for the retirement market into one package to provide a comprehensive offering for people approaching retirement.

The package, marketed under the line “For the life your clients deserve after work”, has been designed to help IFAs offer clients greater flexibility in retirement and highlights the breadth of provisions available to meet individual needs.

NU is urging advisers to look on retirement not just in terms of pension planning but also in terms of inheritance tax planning, income drawdown, equity release and long-term care

The package will be introduced to IFAs during a series of nationwide seminars from the end of this month until the end of the year.

Head of retirement and protection Willie Mowatt says: “We believe we are uniquely placed to provide for the growing retirement market.”
