Norwich Union looks to a sure future

Considering the commission payable for the product, Both says:

"Not excessive for the work involved, but in line with the

market." Pack feels the single premium rate is too high.

Moving on to the product literature, Colsell says: "Good,

not too complicated, but I think some examples of premiums would

be helpful."

Pack feels it is clear and easy to read, and ideal for the age group at

which it is targeted. Both says: "Generally pretty clear, but

since this product is obviously aimed at older clients, it is a shame

that Norwich Union has not used larger type throughout. In particular,

the important notes and declarations are in very small type which is

bound to distress anyone with poorer eyesight."

Spencer adds that it is clear, well laid out and in plain language. He

also feels the branding as Age Concern in partnership with Norwich

Union is a nice touch.

Summing up, Both says: "It is good to see that illustrations

can be produced on Norwich Union’s

website." Pack feels the marketplace is in a continuous

state of change with future Government legislation unknown. Colsell

adds: "Premium reviews could give rise to concern as they

are unquantified."
