Norwich & Peterborough is celebrating its position as number one building society in terms of favourable press coverage in a quarterly survey taken by PressWatch.
The building society came fifteenth out of the 1,197 UK companies surveyed and says its success is due to its excellent product-dominated score.
The company won media plaudits for its green mortgages, Tessas, football club savings accounts rates and low cost loans.
PR manager Alison Lipscombe says: "We try really hard to provide a good service and are thrilled to have achieved this result in a national survey. To us it's the equivalent of winning an Oscar."
