Norwich & Peterborough launch Spanish mortgage

Norwich and Peterborough says it is launching a mortgage that will help sun seekers buy property in southern Spain.


N&P says its Spanish Home Loans scheme is being launched to help British residents, expatriates and residents of Gibraltar buy retirement and holiday homes on the Costa Del Sol.


It says the scheme stems from the success of its branch in Gibraltar.


General manager Stephen Penlington says: &#34Because of the strong pound demand for dream homes in the sun increases and buyers appreciate being able to arrange their finance through a well-known mutual building society.&#34
