Northern Rock sees housing market springing forward

The housing market has received a massive boost from low interest rates according to the latest Northern Rock survey.


The lender has seen a steady rise in spring home buying across the North East.


The average price of a home in the region is now £58,000 a rise of £1,600 over the past year.
