Northern 2 VCT proposes share offers

Northern 2 VCT intends to raise £25m by way of share offers to existing shareholders and the public.

The share capital increase is to be proposed at an EGM on January 16, 2001, with a likely closing date for shareholder priority rights of February 15, 2001. Share offers are planned for both this tax year and next, with the close of the 2000/2001 tax year offer on April 5, 2001 and the 2001/2002 offer closing on April 12, 2001.

Run by specialist venture capital management firm Northern Venture Managers, N2VCT was launched in January 1999 and currently has net assets of around £23m.
