New senior credit analyst appointed at BlackRock

BlackRock has announced the appointment of Stephen Hunnisett to its Europe, Middle East and Africa fixed income team as a senior credit analyst.

Hunnisett joins BlackRock from Moody’s, where he was an analyst for the UK insurance and asset management sectors, and a standing member of Moody’s global insurance credit and research committees.

Prior to this, he was a senior consultant at Watson Wyatt where he worked on a range of asset liability modeling and economic capital projects.

BlackRock’s managing director Bruce Hamilton says: “An analyst of Stephen’s calibre will be a valuable addition to the BlackRock team. The insurance sector is becoming increasingly complex. Stephen’s analytical expertise and sector experience will augment our research process.”
