New sales manager at AXA IM

AXA Investment Managers has announced the appointment of James Wallace to the role of sales manager, global distribution and family offices as part of the UK retail sales team.

Wallace joins from Collins Stewart where he was a stockbroker with the capital markets desk focusing on small cap equities and specialist investment trusts. He previously worked for Baring Asset Management, where he was assistant director of sales responsible for discretionary London accounts since 1997.

Head of UK retail sales Robert Bailey says: “AXA Investment Managers has reinforced its commitment to grow its distribution base through the creation of this new role. James Wallace has a wealth of experience and is a strong addition to the team.

“James will be looking to grow stronger relationships with global distributors and family offices. He will be responsible for developing solutions as well as promoting the full range of funds that fall under the AXA IM umbrella, including AXA IM and AXA Framlington long only and hedge funds as well as AXA Rosenberg funds.”
