The floated Misys IFA business could offer financial services products branded in its name.
As part of a raft of proposals to expand the business ahead of its planned flotation, Misys is looking at packaging products in its name. It also wants to target bancassurers and other new entrants into the post-CP121 environment with outsourced technology solutions, end-to-end processing, compliance services, business monitoring and research capabilities.
Misys financial banking and securities division chief executive Ivan Martin says: “We won't go into manufacturing products but we might start packaging them. We may also move into offering our own wrap products and aggregation technology services.”
