New fees free overseas property mortgage broker launches

A new fees free overseas property mortgage brokers has launched today.

HiFX Mortgage Services offers products from the UK and overseas lenders for people purchasing or re-mortgaging an overseas property or looking to release equity from their UK home to fund a second home overseas.

The broker will be pay referring agents an introductory commission of 35 per cent of the fee it receives from the lender.

Foreign based lenders are currently offered in Spain, France, Italy, Portugal, Canaries, Balearics, Madeira, Dubai and South Africa.

HiFX offers mortgages representative of the whole of the market within the UK in order to fund purchases in the same countries.

HiFX head of international mortgages Jane Ayliff says: “We are delighted to be able to offer a fees free and fully FSA regulated overseas mortgage broker service. The overseas mortgage market is complex and we know that just as borrowers have traditionally struggled to find a regulated broker, good UK residential brokers have often been dissatisfied with the service provided by many of the overseas players. Offering independent, expert mortgage solutions and excellent customer service, our aim is to challenge those overseas brokers who charge large fees and poor service to clean up their act.

She adds: “We are committed to working closely with a range of lenders both in the UK and overseas so that we can offer a tailor-made service which includes exclusive mortgage products, dedicated underwriters and a fast track personal service not available through normal channels.”
